Concepted by Gilles St.Gilles, designed by leading architects Cambefort & Boza with building completed in 2012, this property provides 1,200m² (12,917 ft²) of indoor & outdoor living within 4,425m² (over an acre) of tropical landscaped gardens. This includes a private courtyard with water features, hidden behind a 3.5 meter high wall together with covered walkways & supported by Indonesian coconut palm columns.
The house is currently configured with six air-conditioned bedroom suites in four villas & the Asian inspired home offers eight bathrooms in total, additional self-contained domestic quarters & three undercover parking spaces. Custom made solid teak & oak doors feature throughout.
The two level, stand-alone main pavilion with sweeping terrace & balcony, stunning Italian kitchen villa, overlook a 20 meter long salt-treated pool complete with “floating” gazebo. The balconies are also perfect for viewing the splendid sunsets, water views & swaying palms.
Adjacent to the pool, a spectacular entertainment pavilion with soaring ceiling provides the ultimate in natural living & dining with bbq, wet bar, bathroom, exterior shower & an incredible free-standing teak tree trunk to form part of the atmospheric back-drop.
The extensive stone & bathroom finishes throughout the property are fully imported & unique to Panama, some mirroring those of the Bulgari Hotel in Bali which strongly influenced design.
The mainly hardwood furniture & other artefacts combine antique & modern pieces, set to create a relaxing tropical ambience & are sourced from a private Asian collection, with a touch of Marrakesh.
